Runs

TUESDAY SPEED WORKOUT
Held at Pope High School in East Cobb every Tuesday year-round at 6:00 am, please arrive early to warm -up. Someone is always there by 5:45 am, workout begins at 6:00 am.

TUESDAY EVENING GROUP RUN (Visiting run at Big Peach Marietta)
We join our friends at Big Peach Running Co. Marietta every Tuesday for their Evening Group Run. This run begins at 6:30 pm and is held year-round. Multiple distances for runners of all levels and speed.

THURSDAY TEMPO RUN
Every Thursday at 6:00 am, group departs together for warm up at 6:00 am.  Currently we alternate between the river and Parkaire Kroger. Our tempo is intended as a threshold run, think of a hard effort that could be sustained for an hour. Needless to say, runners come in different speeds and levels of experience, so we always warm-up and cool down together and runners tend to fall into pace groups for our main set. Even if a runner falls in between groups, we keep it mostly together or within reach of each other.

2022 DATES AT RIVER: 6/9, 6/23, 7/7, 7/21, 8/4, 8/18, 9/1, 9/15, 9/29, 10/13, 10/27

2022 DATES AT KROGER: 6/16, 6/30, 7/14, 7/28, 8/11, 8/25, 9/8, 9/22, 10/6, 10/20

SATURDAY GROUP RUN
Every Saturday we meet at Big Peach Running Co. for our Saturday Group Run. The run begins at 7:30 am and offers multiple distances for runners of all levels and speed. All our runs have a social component to them, this one being on Saturday offers a little more time to socialize and enjoy a cup of coffee. This run continues year-round.

SUNDAY TRAIL RUN
Every Sunday at 7:30 am. Runs normally take place  on the Kennesaw Mountain trails, but will move to different locations throughout the year. One of the common meeting places is Pigeon Hill Parking.
